Hi Armin. If you're both vim users, as am I, has there been any
thought to any kind of vim integration, or even vim keybindings in
gobby?

Has there been any work done on getting an Emacs implementation of
the Obby protocol?
Not from our site. I have never even used emacs and we both gobby
developers are using vim as multi-purpose text editor.
I'd be interested in either helping out with or starting one if none
exists.
I guess you would have to start this project. Feel free to ask here if
things are unclear, documentation is the point we are currently
lacking
most :(
As I understand it Gobby is the only complete implementation that
exists; correct? Are there any others in progress?
You are talking about applications using the obby protocol, right?
If I
remember correctly someone has done work to integrate obby into
libferris[1] (you may search the mailing list archives), but that's
all
I know about.
