Hi, After seeing a tandem that was listed in this month's OBC Spokesperson (the classic Benotto that is unfortunately too big for us), my wife and I (well more me than her but you get the idea) are on the lookout for a tandem. Size would be 55 or 56 cm up front and ~50 cm in the back (in a perfect world). Not necessarily looking for a loaded touring machine, probably more of a day tourer, but at the moment I'm just looking for something that doesn't break the bank. :-) The Benotto I looked at this evening is an early to mid '80s model with mostly mid level Italian componentry and downtube 6 spd friction shifting, Columbus Zeta tubing in a 60 cm front and 58 cm rear sizing. All very cool and well cared for but unfortunately too large for us. Anyway, if anyone has a lead on something please let us know.
