According to Canadian Cyclist, Gord's team Mercury-Viatel won't be riding
the Tour de France this year. Neither will Marco Pantani's team nor Mario
Cipollini's. The teams to make up the final roster are Lotto (Belgium),
Euskaltel-Euskadi (Spain), CSC World Online (Denmark), Big Mat (France) and
La Francaise des Jeux (France).
What a missed opportunity to have American rivalry (Mercury vs US Postal)
mass marketed on this side of the pond.
