Hi Dustin,
If it's a year 2001 Eclipse aluminum frame, it's likely different frame
from last year's and earlier years'. Rick Moll has a prototype. Mine is last
year's and the frame was built by Devinci in Montreal(?), I believe. Don't
know who builds the new one but it sure looks good if that's important. Bob
Simpson and Bob Hicks, among others, own last year's model. I think we
all fitted carbon forks to smooth out the ride.
The Ultegra groupset is good value considering how much you must add
for Durace to save a few grams. Although the paint seems to chip very
easily, I'm very satisfied with mine
.... and of course, now all of us are so much faster, but then you wouldn't
want to buy a new bike for that reason, would you Dustin? :-)
