Gord rode an 18:49 July 7, 1994. He did something similar 4 or 5 years
back (from memory 18:48). I don't have the newsletter handy to check what it
was. Maybe Gord would like to try for the record when he's next in Ottawa.

I was there that night. I believe that is the current record. I also
recall Glen Rendall (sp?) had some pretty fast times in 1999 (?). Again, I
don't have the newsletters at hand.
There's a note that on August 14th, 1997 Aaron Fillion rode 19:34. Don't
know if that was his PB.
About a year ago, I started to compile club records from published results.
It's only a few years since the Masters age groupings changed, so
that complicates things. According to my searches, the last newsletter
with information on TT records was Jan 1994. I don't have a copy but
there's one in the office. I was planning to examine records since that
date in order to update the official records. Haven't got around yet, but I
think it's essential the club keep these records for future club historians
as well as for competitive purposes. From what I've read, the late Lea
Gault also felt strongly that the club maintain a complete history (not
just competitive records).
