The best is yet to come!! However, James has decided to cancel the Montreal "Long" Tour this year which was scheduled to run on Saturday 18th. August 2001. Reasons: Quit while I'm ahead. All cyclist who rode the short tour enjoyed themselves and liked the new route through Nuns Island. OBC Van is not available. James is having minor problem with his car. (fan clutch, or water pump, thermostat) Low number of cyclist confirmed. James will rethink the tour for next year and may have only one tour per year as the cyclist seem to enjoy the social part of the tour very much. There is a chance that I may turn it into a weekend tour in the future but that will take some work on my part to find cheap clean accommodations in downtown Montreal so that on day one the cyclist will have a choice of shopping, island hopping on bike paths and good food.
