Women aren't the only ones not likely to not return if they get dropped.

Regardless of the competitive nature, I won't go out with a group that drops me.  I'm 
a socially 
competitive rider.  It might competitive amongst a few of us, but as a group, we ride 
as a group.  
We wait for the slowest.

I was quite happy with the Saturday ride I went on (out to Cumberland, ferry, and 
back).  That 
suited me.  Quite social.  Relaxed.
