Hello all : Hiking in the Gats for Sunday December 9 (WILL IT EVER SNOW!!)
Meet: College de l'Outaouais -- I think it's called P.L.#2 (Hwy 5 across bridge to Hull (or however you normally come), the College is at the intersection of Cit� des jeunes and Mont-Bleu. Parking lot -- is behind and to the right of the college complex) Time: 10 AM Suggested route: Series of greeen trails from the College to meet up with trail # 5, right onto trail # 15 to McKenzie King Estate. Return via trail 35, 7 to parkway to Pink Lake, trail 15 to trail 5, return via green trails. Bring map, liquids, snack/lunch. Wear suitable clothing and footwear (with all this rain, there may be boggy bits). Ski poles optional but helpful. A change of clothes for after is wise if the weather turns foul. See you there!
