The summer I moved to Ottawa from Toronto (1973!) I stayed at a youth hostel at a place called Lac Carr�, just a k or 2 north of St Faustin.
If you look at a Quebec road map, you'll see a minor road that goes north of the main hiway to St Agathe. Follow the 329 south through St Agathe, through St Adolphe d'Howard, to Morin Heights. At Morin Heights, turn right/west on 364 through Lac des Seize Isles, Weir, to Arundel and north on 327 to St Jovite. From there, I believe it's easy to find a secondary road that returns to St Faustin. I calculate about 115km for the loop.
