Hi there! In case you didn't see the add in the recent Spokersperon, back by popular demand is the Spring to Virginia cycling tour, April 26 - May 5, 2002. Again this year we have altered the tour format a bit to accommodate different tastes and add some spice for those who are veterans of the tour. We will be staying at one inn only for the duration of the tour but this in no way limits the cycling possibilities, which abound in every direction. We will be in prime cycling territory in Locust Dale, site of the beautiful Inn at Meander Plantation. Suzie and Suzanne, the innkeepers, are very excited to have us return to Meander and are already putting together menus that will no doubt dazzle our tastebuds. Our visit last year was made memorable by the warm welcome we received and beautiful accommodations at Meander (not to mention the wonderful meals). If the time is right and the legs are yearning for some great cycling, than do think of joining us for this edition of the Virginia tour. The cost this year is set at $1,200 for 9 nights' accommodation, 9 breakfasts, 7 wonderful dinners and maps - still great value for money. Please drop by the Club office to sign up for one of the 18 tour spots or mail in your completed registration form and downpayment.
