Les,

If you're looking to do a pre-1950 vintage thing then I guess I'm out, the
oldest bike I've got is 1964. :-)

The idea of a 'Grand Muster' is interesting, but I think you'd have to be
the one to organize it and approach organizers of events like the TdN or any
parade.

The response to my message has been less than inspiring (I've had no replies
other than yours). Looks like I'm the only one actually interested in riding
bikes that are 'classic' or 'vintage'. Perhaps I could get the message
popped into the next OBC newsletter to help spread the word.

So Les, I understand you've got a preference for a 'Grand Muster'. Does the
idea of a monthly (bi-monthly or some other interval) ride for those that
might appreciate older bikes interest you?

David

My preference is a 'Grand Muster' including veteran bikes of
pre-1950 vintage, once a year - at the opening of a cycling event such as
the Tour de Nortel or as part of a Santa Claus Parade.
