I would agree with Michael here. We have an adjustable handle bars for the stoker so that is not an issue. Our son likes the tandem while our daughter who is older feels somewhat high off the ground. You would be welcome to try either the stokid kit and the trail-a-bike out to see which one you like at least before buying. We may want to sell the trail-a-bike if we could try out a tandem trail-a-bike to attach to the tandem.
