Hey all you fellow cyclists,

Thursday 6pm: On the Gatineau Parkway there is a 40m stretch at the St.
Raymond overpass, and then the parking area at Champlain Lookout is bare.
Between these two points you'll have to strap on some planks and throw that
hunk of titanium over your shoulder.

For the nordic skiers,

Wednesday, the 8cm of wet stuff was not packed but as there were some Profac
skidoo tracks that provided good marathon skate trails. The grooming began
Thursday with tracks set on one side of the Gatineau Parkway from Asticou
and the center rolled. The best skating was the center track of the
Champlain Parkway from the Gat pkwy to Fortune pkwy. Amazing, smooth hard
pack, with just enough grip at 6pm. Fast. Going down Blacks was a blast
(especially since tracks were not set on the Champlain Pkwy). It was
starting to ice up by 7pm so from Notch back to Gamelin the chewed up snow
dictated a double-poling session.

Should be another good weekend, as I know Rosmarie wants at least another 2
weeks of skiing!

Speaking of Rosmarie, don't forget to spring those clocks forward if you
plan on meeting at the Farm for the two wheel group riding clinic.

cheers Eric,

PS. Have you heard about the new BikeMay? It has little wheels and folds up
into a daypack for those spring skiing sessions!
