Hi there... I have been lurking on the list for a while - as I was planning to be in Ottawa for 2 weeks and wanted to ride while I am here.
Well I am here now, outfitted with a great bike from Rentabike (thanks Harry!) and am looking for route suggestions. Can anyone suggest a nice 40km-ish loop, that is easy for someone unfamiliar with the roads to follow? (Note: I am actually pretty good with navigation - but would rather be able to relax and enjoy a ride, rather than remember, find and execute lots of turns...). So - what is fun, uses good biking roads and is fairly simple? All suggestions welcome. I am at a hotel near Bronson and Albert, so it can start from anywhere downtown-ish. Also the distance isn't a big thing - 30, 40, 50 - whatever. Thanks in advance!
