opportunity to correct it before an announcement is made that it is wrong (unless the event is the next day or something). This is certainly a courtesy I would extend to anyone else who has to keep info up-to-date. Further, we are under no obligation to post non-OBC event info. It is only posted for the convenience of the OBC membership. Regarding social events, the dates/locations of socials are rarely set until a few weeks before.
