Hi !
Sunday April 07 Th. OBC Tour Cyclist.

A few observed points on Sundays ride.

1. "No" Sir James did not forget to change the clock last night.

2. "No" I was not avoiding OBC cyclist, well maybe I was, that is I was
avoiding all packs. Wanted to do a few things not recommended in a pack.
So why not wait a little to see if it would get a little warmer.

Wanted to test new saddle, Tuesday night was not the time. requires a little
more adjustment.
Double taped handlebars (Profile tape) from hoods to stem. Yes I like it.
Wanted to freshen up on cycling position (relaxed) bent and tucked in
elbows, dropped shoulders. Helps to do a little thinking on position.

3. Even the water fowl is confused with the weather. observed seagulls,
ducks and geese all mixed together in a flooded field on Limebank Rd.

4. Passed three groups of OBC riders, Going by members, first a slower
group. Must have gone only to Manotick. Then a group with Avery in it. Must
have gone to Osgoode. Then another slower group. Which must have gone to
Kars or Osgoode. Each group had one member that had been dropped and was way
back from the group ahead of them.

5. Did Century Rd, 1 St. Line, Skipped Kars, Got the last carrot muffin at
the bakery at Osgoode and took the last cinnamon bun home to my wife. A chap
came in while I was eating my muffin and there was nothing for him to eat
but pkg.. tarts and cakes, he left without eating. That's how I know OBC
was there.

6. Returned up Manotick Station Road, Bowsville, Alert, Airport Parkway and
home. Saw several non OBC single riders, about six.

7. Spotted a Beaver in a ditch filled with water, Yes it was a beaver,
Ground hogs do not have big flat tails and dive underwater, at least I do
not think they swim, the tail I'm sure maybe someone can enlighten me.

8. Went around the block a few times to get a even 70 km's.
Tired but happy. Cheers :-) Sir James

expected. We have first pick.
