Hi again Tom,

In answer to your question, I'm using Internet Explorer [IE] 5 on a
Mac running OS 8.6.

I've seen this sort of behavior many years ago when I authored my
first site. It wasn't until later that I learnt some specific HTML
tags are interpreted differently, or not at all, by IE as opposed to
Netscape Navigator. However, with the evolution of different
browsers over the years, I understand and expect that this is not
necessarily the case anymore.

As for Webwasher, many thanks for that heads-up. Although I've a
cursory understanding of all things 'proxy' as they relate to the
Internet, I've tried configuring Webwasher in various ways, and have
turned it off as it's not helping resolve this situation. All this
to say, nothing's changed from my end.

Oh well, life's a learning process so enjoy the ride, and pedal like hell!

Bill
