The following are two part-time job opportunities with the City of

Staff are required for two of the Programmes offered by the City of
Ottawa as part of the Adult Living Club:
1. Cycling Programme Co-ordinator
To work a weekly cycling programme.
The programme is an Adult cycling group. The coordinator will be
responsible for leading the participants along the set route for the day.
Programme Dates: Wednesday evenings every week, May 15 to August 28
6:30 p.m. to dusk. Starting point: Pretoria Bridge
Pay Rate: $9.08 per hour
Qualifications required
- good physical fitness level
- Current First Aid and C.P.R. certification
- Police security check
- Knowledge of the Cycling trails (pathways) in the City
- Knowledge of bike repair
Canoeing Instructor
To programme two information workshops. The staff will be responsible
for reviewing safety rules for canoeing, as well as the basic strokes of
Canoeing
Workshop Dates : Wednesday June 12 - 10 to noon = 2 hours
Wednesday June 19 - 10 to noon = 2 hours
Workshop Location: Britannia Beach
Pay Rate - $10.40 per hour
Qualifications required
- Current First Aid and C.P.R. certification
- Police security check
- Past experience in instructing canoeing
- Current instructors certificate
