Bill, Just got back from the "barrhaven express" ride, this ride has been put together by a couple of Triatahlon guys, it is not a OBC ride but everyone is welcome.
Check out their web site at: http://www.cyberus.ca/~dgrose/express10.htm. Good ride, we left from the Walter Baker Sports center in Barrhaven at 9:30, rode to Merickvile and back (120K). We had a couple of strong riders Paul Datars and Aaron Fillon pulling us most of the way. I think this ride had been getting aound 25 people but due to the runing events this weekend alot of regulars did not show up. About half the group turned aound at the 30K point to get in a total of 60K, the rest uf us continued on to Merickville and back for the full 120K. Good roads with not much traffic, I'll be doing it again. Hope the weather holds out I want to do OBC tomorow.
