RO 30 de ani de libertate – prezentare de Dan PERJOVSCHI [RO] Miercuri, 24 iulie 2019, ora 20:00 Zpațiu (Casa Zemstvei Guberniale, str. Al. Șciusev 103, Chișinău) O practică artistică bazată pe libertatea de expresie, ascunsă în dictatură și redescoperită în democrație. De la local la global. De pe hârtie pe zid. Din ziar în muzeu și viceversa. Desenul este unul din cele mai arhaice mijloace de comunicare. Și unul din cele mai contemporane. Artist, activist, cetățean. Dan PERJOVSCHI [RO] folosește desenele sale binecunoscute, stilul de joc și instalațiile specifice locului pentru a ilustra evenimentele curente, în timp ce declanșează o critică plină de umor în adresa presei internaționale și a actorilor guvernamentali. Lucrările sale satirice reprezintă intervenții schițate cu imagini și texte de știri, transformând galeria într-un spațiu de frustrări relatabile cu condițiile socio-politice. Aflându-se pe o fundație efemeră, Perjovschi nu evită să abordeze contradicțiile inerente scenei socio-economice privilegiate unde pot fi găsite lucrările sale. From the newspaper to the museum and vice-versa. Drawing is one of the most archaic ways of communication. And one of the most contemporary. Artist, activist, citizen. Dan PERJOVSCHI [RO] uses his well-known drawings, wordplay and site-specific installations to portray current events while conducting a humorous and sharp critique of international media and government players. His satirical works are sketchbook interventions with images and text in news, transforming the gallery into a space of relatable frustrations with socio-political conditions. Maintaining an ephemeral foundation, Perjovschi does not ignore the inherent contradictions of the socioeconomically privileged arena where his work can be found.
