Materialising on a continuous back-and-forth of ideas from as early as 2018, the project brings together two apparently contrasting devices meant for playful actions performed by the artist and the public alike. The most exuberant one, also taking over the title, PRAK is an exercise in liberation of objects from themselves, whether artworks, biscuits, letters, fruit. The pure energy freed in the moment of release, the slight disappointment of incomplete destruction, the illusion of controlling both the making and the un-making. A cotton candy machine fills in our empty mind space, bringing little to no comfort in these times, but still trying. Candy floss becomes ammunition, decoration, question and empty calories all in one. Come join us in this bitter-sweet endeavour! He studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in 1979–1985. In his work he deals with social memory in art, the political format of human behaviour and the contact of idealistic visions with everydayness. In 2010 – 2016 he worked as a head of the Video Art Studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno. As a sculptor and performer he takes part in many exhibitions and events in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. In his PhD thesis in the Studio of Sculpture at the Prague Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design he deals with the work of his father, sculptor Miloš Zet (1920–1995). Materializând un schimb de idei început încă din 2018, proiectul aduce împreună două mecanisme ce par contrastante, ambele destinate unui amuzament performat atât de artist, cât și de public. Cel mai exuberant dintre acestea, cel care fură și titlul evenimentului, PRAK, este un exercițiu în eliberarea obiectelor de sine, fie că sunt lucrări de artă, biscuiți, scrisori, fructe. Energia pură eliberată în momentul detensionării, ușoara dezamăgire când distrugerea nu este completă, iluzia controlului dublu asupra construirii, cât și asupra desfacerii. O mașină de vată de zahăr ne umple mințile goale, aducând puțin spre deloc confort în aceste vremuri, dar fără a renunța. Vata de zahăr devine muniție, decorație, întrebare și calorie goală, toate deodată. Vino alături de noi în această tentativă dulce-amară! A studiat sculptura la Academia de Arte Plastice din Praga în perioada 1979-1985. În opera sa se ocupă de memoria socială în artă, de aspectul politic al comportamentului uman și de relația dintre viziunile idealiste și viața de zi cu zi. În perioada 2010–2016 a lucrat ca șef al Atelierului Video Art la Facultatea de Arte Plastice din Brno. Ca sculptor și artist performance participă la numeroase expoziții și evenimente în Republica Cehă și în străinătate. În teza sa de doctorat de la Atelierul de Sculptură al Academiei de Artă, Arhitectură și Design din Praga se ocupă de opera tatălui său, sculptorul Miloš Zet (1920-1995). Acest eveniment este susținut cu generozitate de Centrul Ceh București.
