Yep, have checked that out but if you read below you'll probably see why
I was looking for more...

Thanks for the offer - I'd like to take you up on that so long as it's
comfortable and easy for you to set up?

Anhow, I'm going to bite the bullet and start installing Obs on a new
RH6 server some time over next 48 hours - I always suffer an equal
mixtture of angst and adrenalin when installing anything new... but
ultimately there's no escape <grin>

One thing that may be a problem is the "legal issue" you mentioned. What
is the problem... and is it an International or US issue... (any simple
explanation and\or links on this one)?

I am hoping that Orb is the best choice for the following:

We have around 2,500 schools each sharing a school intranet via 64k ISDN
(via Cisco 160x) connected to 15 ISDN POPs.

We are aiming to set up a 7x24 school radio service broadcasting to all
2500 schools, with content and programming controlled by students. We
also want to provide an Internet broadcast service using the same
software if possible (management), but our primary need is to minimise
bandwidth usage on the school intranet.

My own lack of coding skills is balanced by plenty of hands-on
networking experience.

The client-end installation\configuration has to be minimal as only a
small percentage of schools would be able to do more than simple
installation (FreeAmp) and we would not be able to re-configure the
router protocols etc.

I'll keep you up to speed with progress here.

In the meantime, any information and\or suggestions very greatfully
received ;^)
