i modified the makefile and config.h and got obsd to build. but, and
there's always a but, this is what i get when i start obsd:

i couldn't get .deb files for libshout-1.0.3 so i used alien on the
.rms's at the website suggested in the obs install instructions. next i
guess i'd better try compiling from source. if anyone knows what might
cause the Xmit: starting problem please let me know.
