I had an idea, last night.. and was wondering what everyone thought about it... Since right now Obs has no way to lower the bitrate, wouldn't it be possible to grab the stream from obs and re-encode it? I asked around and was told that a program called ices could do such a thing, but I have been unable to make that work. I then read the archives of this list again, and saw that someone else had my brilliant idea... I was wondering if they were able to make this work? Or, if anyone else has any idea how I can offer a high and a low bitrate stream at the same time. Part of the reason I installed Obs was so that I can listen to my collection while I am away from the office, frequently dialed up via modem....
