Now that I have the server up and playing, I've tied it into icecast. I actually wasn't able to get the server to tie in to the shoutcast server, it simply wouldn't connect. I didn't even see messages on the shoutcast console output showing an attempted connection. In any case, I DID get icecast to work, and playing the streams with freeamp works well. Playing them with winamp, however, causes some difficulty. The buffer fills, empties, and refills about every 5 seconds, causing these annoying gaps in the stream playback. I looked through a bunch of winamp settings, and I didn't see a user-configurable buffer setting. So... is there a way to fix this?
