Ok I got it working by installing the latest beta from
lame.sourceforge.net... 

on a seperate note:
One think I've been meaning to mention, and was reminded
of when I upgraded to this latest version.  In all of the
top.html files for the web interface, the first table is
preceeded by a <P>.  I've found that troublesome in all
browsers except for old netscape.  It pushes everything 
down so that I can't see the top bar at all.  I've usually
simply removed the <P> and I can read everything fine.

Thanks for the awesome product.  I've been using obs for
quite a while now and its been great.
