This is because there's no way to do this via the payment processor. I
think it's meant as a security measure to prevent us changing the email
and then changing products or something.
I normally recommend people just make another account and resubscribe
with that when the old one expires.
I put a big box on the signup page telling people not to use personal
accounts because of this. We get a handful of instances per year of this
causing a problem.
