BTW we do in fact exercise caution. The police tell us if there is information which they don't want publicised, and of course we respect this. I think it far more likely that the residents of Obs are going to benefit from the exchange of information on this site - rather than the criminals. Most crime in Obs is of a fairly casual, opportunist nature and I doubt that these people log into the google group, or are aware of its existence. Would you really prefer not to know what is going on around you? I would think that the benefits of this forum far outweigh the risks. But if you feel that there is particular information that should not be shared, it would help to know what you have in mind, with perhaps one or two examples. Rob
