I read that the OBSID is in danger of falling under the control of a small clique of people unless a sufficiently large number of homeowners become voting members. To do so involves filling in & faxing off a form, & a liability of only R1 (one Rand).
The form is available at http://www.obz.org.za/business-plan.html (top document on the list of links, ("OBSID Section 21 Membership Application") and must be faxed to Brian Amery at 086-672-0079. I checked the group's archives for whether this info has already been posted, & it seems not to have been. Apologies if I have missed such an announcement!
