I have just learned that the property that was accessed by the abovementioned about three weeks ago (.....he was seen jumping over a high palisade gate at 9.30 pm approx 3 wks ago - today being 30 Apr 2009) suffered losses. On the night the thug was seen they lost a laptop. Subsequently they lost a wallet. This was Wesley St.
The thug in question is AN EXTREMELY AGILE CLIMBER (pardon the capitals.....I'm not 'shouting' rather 'emphasizing' for easy seeing). He is dark black ( from up north ? ) - stands about 1.6 high - and has a stocky build. He has been seen with a black track-suit top with double white stripe down the sleeves. Carries a ruck-sack (....what better to put a laptop into). He has also been spotted out at night - again in Wesley - a little after midnight. He is extremely good at scaling high walls / fences / palisade fences / you-name-it. And he is more slippery than the most slippery eel. When people are after him he seems to disappear into thin air. [There was an occasion when two patrollers / ADT / and the SAPS were trying to locate him after he'd been spotted in Wesley but again the disappearing trick. Probably into someone's garden to bide his time.
