Hi I just wanted to send you a potential warning for other residents. We have just sold our house (sold board outside) and a guy came around yesterday and told my nanny that he was here to fix the lights for the madam. I have a very cautious nanny who will not open for anyone unless I have told her to expect them. She asked him what his name was and what my name is. He said he couldn't remember. She said she was just going to quickly phone me before she could let him in. By the time she got her phone out, he had driven off. She said he was a white guy with longish hair driving a bakkie. The scary thing is that we do have an electrician scheduled to fix the lights but only next week. Thankfully I have a very street wise nanny and we have a good system in place to avoid these situations. She has also had "telkom" come by a while back but once again didn't open for them. I caution other residents to warn their domestics especially when the kids are at home.
