We had a break-in last night in Fairfield Road. Apparently this was
similar to one a couple of nights ago at a school around the road. It
happened around 4:00-5:00 this morning. Fortunately I think I
disturbed them because they only stole from one room at the front,
leaving computers, cameras and an iPhone untouched in the next room.

They forced open the front gate, broke the security light, and the
light in the front porch, threw a brick through the back window of my
mini and stole the keys - but left the mini. They then used our garden
statue as a battering ram to break open the front door, breaking the
bottom half off the top. They stole my main computer and screen, but
badly, leaving things like the speakers, wi-fi connector and cables
damaged. It is an Apple G5 ( serial number: CK442H4CS8K for what it's
worth ) with a 23" Cinema Display. This is not very easy to shift as a
computer, so I think that they stole it thinking it to be some sort of
television.

With any luck the similarity in modus operandi and the time, between
Midnight and 04:30 will make it easier to catch them.
