Tonight around 22:45 a white Golf CA 365646 was hijacked apparently involving three blacks - at least one was armed. The car was apparently belonged to a visiting son. situation is Eden corner Roman Roads.
This was reported on the radio whilst James (Oscar 19) and I were on quick patrol near Waverley Blanket factory, no details were initially available and we looked for suspicious cars on Main Road. When we arrived at the scene three ADT AR vehicles and the local s/o patroller in attendance. James first efforts to contact SAPS were negative but we were later on able to assist Sierra Whisky 18 and Inspector Melima (sp?) in giving details and directions to Eden Road. Just as an aside thanks to SW 8 by assisting promptly around 22:00 when people were moving wheelie bins from Rochester Road past the bicycle security hut corner James/Trill Roads to Lwr Main Road, much appreciated.
