Remember Conman Cohen well. He came to my door in Oxford Road many years ago, his name was unchanged Cohen but he was not yet a Dr.
His keys were (again or still) locked into his car on the corner and he needed to phone urgently, His story was way to smooth and I remembered possibly having read about him and seen his pic in the Tatler but could not find it in a hurry. Offered to phone for him, and he promised me a beer and later a box of beer for being that kind but he disappeared in a great hurry when he discovered that I did not fall for his ploy. Still waiting for my beer.
