Thank you! Your point about the trolley bins is spot on and should be 
observed by everybody. They form the easiest of stepping stones for anybody 
wanting to get over a highish wall. Don't put them out the night before. 
Wait until the morning of the actual refuse collection.

People in Pretoria go around their neighbourhoods advising people not to put 
their bins out too early. In the street where friends of mine live, two 
elderly couples collect the emptied bins of those homeowners who are at work 
and take care of them until their owners come and collect them once they're 
back home again.
