Nicely written Waterbuck !

And......ja.......it is amazing how folk don't think about how a
refuse bin cld/can be used very creatively by an aspirant burglar/
thief......i.e. for scaling high walls, palisade fences,
whatever........quite apart from using them to cart their loot
around.....

I once asked a neighbour whether she'd consider not keep her ladder in
her back space (....because it compromised the safety of both of us).
I was thought to be over-the-top......and........the ladder remained
where it was.....

But.....I was the person broken into, the thief ably assisted by the
builder's rubble dumped under *my window* by same neighbours. Some
folk just don't get it.........until.............it happens to
them......

So.....ja.......

It would be good if we'd take a little time out to sweep up our broken
glass (....tokens of victory for vandals and thugs) when our cars get
done. And try not to leave your wheelie bins out (.....it may be used
to scale your wall or your neighbour's wall).
