It all happened so quickly that a description (from me) would be
difficult....

I was sitting having coffee at a place on the cnr of Lwr Main / Trill
Rds when someone came rushing in and asked that the person behind the
counter push the panic button. This was done and ADT must have taken
about 10 to 12 minutes to arrive, by which time (unfortunately) two
suspects had casually walked out of Mango G. and down toward Lwr
Main. They began running only once they had turned into Lwr
Main......at a sort of moderate trot. Soon there were folk chasing
them. When I saw the chase happening, all I cld do was run into Lwr
Main and scream my lungs out to draw peoples' attention to the chase
and the fact of something unpleasant happening. ADT called the SAPS
who arrived quite quickly after they were called, for which THANKS
OUPA !

To backtrack a little....
Just as the person rushed in (to the place where I was sitting having
coffee) and instructed that the ADT panic button be pushed I vaguely
noticed some strange behaviour by a very dark-skinned black gent who
was walking around the RunX (parked about outside the Asian
Supermarket) - he seemed to be walking around in the vicinity of the
RunX in a rather agitated way that unsettled me somewhat. The person
who asked that the p/button be pushed noticed the guy at the RunX at
about the same time I did. She noticed him because he (cellphone in
hand) had allegedly watched her walking past Mango G. which was when
she noticed the restaurant's owner being manhandled by two black guys
inside..........which was when she rushed into where I was to ask that
the p/button be pushed.

A little further along the road another patroller (Oscar 12) saw two
folk run past the Quensh Deli with folk after them and she too became
aware something was amiss.

There is more I feel I want to say following on what happened but I
won't because this site is open to the public and I would not want to
put anyone at risk.
