Good morning to all concerned This morning at 8:30am, on our way to town on Liesbeek Parkway, we saw a silver 4 x 4 bakkie and three men loading paving bricks (from the council's upgrade next to the river) into it. They did not even appear to be concerned that they were committing theft in plain sight in broad daylight during the peak traffic! To add injury to insult, one was wearing a Springbok jersey and the other a Santa cap!
I called Vetus Schola to inform them and to ask them to summon the Police. The Vetus Schola patrol had difficulty understanding where Liesbeek Parkway was and we gave them 5 minutes of directions. This is not to complain about them - they are doing a really good job. I just feel that we should make it possible fro them to have access to street maps - or do they? Does anyone know if the Police or VS was able to catch the perpetrators in the act?
