Hi Annemarie,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The matter has been
investigated and the security personnel in question has been disciplined in
accordance to our company policy. It would be appreciated if all good and
bad points relating to security be reported.

Regards

Matthew

Thanks Annemarie. Matthew Jellen (the VS manager) is also a member of this
group and he gets these postings. I am sure he will take it up and I will
raise it when next we meet.
Maintaining discipline and standards is an endless and thankless task, but
vevertheless please all of you continue to report such lapses.

Dear Brian,

I am not sure if this email will reach you, as I cannot seem to sign in to
the site for some reason or another.

However my concern is that I have notice Vetus Schola guards :

1. 2 Guards casually walking up Wrench Road one Sunday morning as they
they were on holiday. They did not seem to concerned what was going on
at the back or side of them.

2. 4 Guards standing on Lower Main Road with 1 smoking and deep in
discussion. They looked as though they were off duty as they seemed to be
laughing and joking in a circle on the corner of Trill Road and Lower Main.
This was just before Christmas.

3. 2 Gaurds sitting on a small wall at the OBS Junior school and between
the carpark closest to the OBS School teachers parking , which is a small
narrow side road situation and they were definitely not visible from there
or even they could not observe from there. I walked around the block
and then found another one of them walking casually and very slow past the
school.

My question is , why so many congregated in one small area with very little
exposure for them or any activity and also they all seemed extremely
casual and not on duty at all.

However I have seen their car driving by on a few occasions and also saw one
guard chasing a thug once , which impressed me at that time.

However we seem to still have a particularly bad crime situation and that
is of concern.

Your comment will be appreciated.

Regards

Annemarie

FYI - at least two of my neighbours had their cars broken into last
night. It seemed like their locks were jimmied, since I didn't see
any broken glass, and at least one of them could no longer more...

This is bad news. Vetus Schola do receive these emails so hopefully they
will step up their efforts in the area. Please encourage your neighbours to
report the incidents. The more crime we report in more...

Also Brian, patrollers have slackened off because of the 2-way radio
problems since 11.12.2009.
There's talk of some of them (i.e. the radios) being re-programmed by
tonight which just might serve more...

Umm, I think that when all the radios are back and functioning we (Obs

Each vehicle has a laminated map. I take your point about training - it has
been mooted before but nothing has happened. I will follow it up.

If I could see which maps they have, I would be more than willing to do an
