The power surge we had last month caused a huge amount of damage for so many people. I personally spent over R1000 replacing daylight sensors,light bulbs etc. My Standard insurance said they don't cover any damage caused by power surges! Has anyone else had any luck with insurance? I walked past the sub station in Willow road this morning. All that is stopping this happening again is a very small padlock! How can we get the door locked properly? Any suggestions?
