Hi residents,

The prowler/stalker has stuck his head out again.

This time he entered a property in Bellevliet Road Friday evening/night. He
entered the house via a partially open window which is left open for the
cat. The prowler took clothes from the washing machine belonging to a young
female who lives in the house, laid the blouse and jeans neatly on a garden
table at the back of the home, placed a towel on the bench and probably
fantasised around it before entering the house again. This time he forced
the kitchen security door using a piece of wood, prowled around below and
then went to the rooms upstairs.

Unbeknown to what was happening, a young lady was alone in the house in one
of the upstairs rooms, fortunately, with the bedroom door locked. She was
busy chatting to her mom on the phone when she heard her bedroom door being
tried. She quickly went onto the balcony and shut herself off in case he
had come in. He checked another room, but left soon afterwards. The young
lady saw the prowler leaving the property; he looked up at her, greeted and
then just walked off up Bellevliet Road.

SAPS having been alerted by a friend, whom she had called, soon arrived and
helped to check through the property. SAPS visited the young lady again on
Saturday afternoon to take a full statement. Cons Damon suggested it could
have been Collin. I was requested to chat to the young lady and to guide
her whether to press for charges or not. It soon became apparent that the
stalker could very well be a known stalker who actually lives quite close by
in Observatory. A photograph was shown her of the person who stalked on
London Road in April earlier this year, which she just about fully confirmed
being the same person. Fortunately the young lady is safe and unharmed but
was a bit shaky in having made the statement and the subsequent
identification of the stalker re the photograph.

An Investigating Officer of the Woodstock Police visited the young lady
Sunday morning, at which I was telephoned in order to confirm the suspected
stalker's name and address. On my enquiry Sunday evening with SAPS
Woodstock seemingly no arrest has been made as yet.

James

Take care,
