PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT WE DO NOT HAVE MUCH TIME AS IT IS ON 6th AUG 2010 Helen Woodstock SAPS Communications, Social Crime and the Womens network are hosting A National Women's Day Educational Workshop for all women who render their services daily at our police station. These women dedicate their lives and their time, to ensure the safety, security and well being of the citizens of South Africa simply to make a positive difference in the lives of others. As women in the South African Police Service we are frequently faced with challenging and difficult situations, and are also faced with the reality of having to compete in a male dominated industry. All these challenges often take a stressful toll on us and undoubtedly affext our domistic lives. Thus the educational workshop will focus on team building, self care and basic life skills concerning how to cope with the daily challenges in the Safety and Security Industry as a woman. We as women in the South African Police Service firmly believe that the workshop will have a positive impact on our lives as individuals, both in the workplace and domestically, and thus ultimately contribute to a better quality of life. We look forward to this event in anticipation. The workshop will be held at M'udi Farm Stellenbosch. The number of women expected to attend this workshop are 65 in total. This includes all Trauma Unit Volunteers. The costs involved is R60.00 per person which includes lunch. the total cost being R3900.00. In order to make this event possible, we humbly appeal for any assistance in this regard. We are optimistic that this event will be successful nd a memorable one for all our valued female collegues. We thank you for your co-operation and appreciate your loyal assistance. Signed by Sgt H N Malila, Communications Officer.
