This afternoon there was a dark blue / black late 90s or early 2000s 5-series BMW sedan, registration number DBR 814 GP, parked in Eden Road behind Tafelberg Furnishers for approximately an hour between 15:00 and 16:00. We heard a noise at around 16:00 and were in time to see one of three 30ish men, jumping down from the alley between Mike's Panel Shop, Smith's Auto Electrical, the Shell garage and Tafelberg. When I opened the gate they behaved in an extremely suspicious manner, quickly shut the boot which was open and drove off fast down Eden Road and right into Trill.
They weren't carrying anything; presumably if they had burgled one of these businesses, the goods were already in the car when we heard the last one coming over the wall. One had a cell phone out so I suspect two of them were probably keeping watch (but not in Eden Road as the car was unattended as far as we could tell).
