The three men in the BMW have just returned - at around 16:10, passed an axle with two wheels attached (no tyres) over the wall, stowed it in the boot (and something on the back seat, but I didn't see what it was) and taken off - this time up Bowden Road.
I phoned one of the police cars and Vetus Schola but unfortunately they were very quick. We suspect that the theft was from Mike's Panel Shop, but we can't get hold of them as the cell number in the phone book is incorrect. I have reported it to the police.
