I've heard, over the years, about how houses are 'marked' to indicate one thing or another - perhaps just "these people are a soft touch" but maybe also something like "worth breaking in here".
Today we discovered a very thin pink ribbon (very bright, so very obvious) tied to our gate (in Perth Road, which is one street down from the station). Has anyone seen or heard of this kind of thing happening elsewhere in Obs?
