A car hooter sounds.
For a l - o - n - g while.
Then.........for a brief spell............nothing.....
Then it sounds again......as tho someone is sitting in the car
deliberately hooting intermittently and for longish periods.
I try to establish which car it is........but no luck.
Other residents - now awake - tell me it's a green Fiat Palio.
The hooting continues in this fashion for about 15 minutes.

There's no-one in or near this car and it doesn't seem to have been
tampered with.
There is not a breath of wind either.

I call V.S. who come to check. Thanks VS.
And the hooting stops......

The Palio owners are not around................but they could not have
slept through this incessant hooting....
Surely.....

Vetus hangs around in Robins for a fair
while................but.....................................no more
hooting...... ?

Perhaps the Palio owners practise voodoo coz there's just no
explaining this car's hooter sounding at odd intervals the way it
did.....

Weird.....

Can anyone out there tell me whether it's possible for a car hooter to
sound for no apparent reason, intermittently and for differing lengths
of time ?
