If you do not need immediate, on the spot, Police presence phone 10111. You will be asked for your name and address so that the call can be logged and response recorded. Please ask for and note the reference number for your call so that you can follow up on progress. a.. IMPORTANT - If you have called one of the numbers other than 10111 please call 10111 as well and obtain a reference number. This will allow you to follow up and check progress. This is particularly important because the amount of SAPS resources allocated to us annually is influenced by the 10111 records. I believe that currently very little of our crime is reported via 10111. This means that we are not receiving our fair share of Police men and money. Please remember, if we do not know all about your problem we cannot do so much to help.
