What was the bogus pretext perhaps the resident uses this in other
situations....... - it must have been very convincing for you to have been
overwhelmed and let your guard down.

Subject: [obsnw] Warning Opportunist re Lytton & Milton Roads

Hello, perhaps you would like to put this warning out.

I am a resident in Lytton Street between Station and Milton Roads. I have just
done the most unbelievably idiotic thing.

I let a stranger into my house on his bogus pretext, and he scouted out my
whole house. After he left, I checked with the neighbour he claimed to be
housesitting for, and it is clear he was lying.

Homes surrounding mine may also be at risk. This would include homes on Merrick
Street backing up to Lytton houses. I have phoned or walked around to alert
those residents that I could.

My apologies for putting us all at risk.

Louis
