I have had the same experience with this guy - he said he was housesitting and the door had blown shut and he needed R30 to go fetch the spare keys. I also fell for it and gave him the money - so naive. Specially as I now know that when people are asking for R30-R40 it is to buy tik - that is how much a tik lolly costs.
