Brilliant!
I'll definitely be employing the same method to get rid of unwanted
solicitors...(there's about 4 a week & I usually just shout "no
thanks"!!)

Man

We had some fun this morning.

A rasta man rang the doorbell. Now we have got an intercom with
display, so
we can see who's ringing when we're at the back.
My husband answered ( he can't see us just hear) and said hello?

He went on about how he lives or is down the road and had locked his
keys in
and could he come in and make a phone call???

I had told my husband about Bandana man, so my husband spoke to
Rasta-locked-my-key-can-I-make-a-call-phone in a Chinese broken (very
broken) English.
Going on like: you wan na na whoooo?
Ha?
Hi?
No?
Yes?
You got chicken?

It was quite funny at the time, went on for a good 5 mintes and Rasta
finally gave up and walked away.
My husband called after him through the intercom but he didn't come
back. :)

I have had the same experience with this guy - he said he was
housesitting
and the door had blown shut and he needed R30 to go fetch the spare
keys. I
also fell for it and gave him the money - so naive. Specially as I now
know
that when people are asking for R30-R40 it is to buy tik - that is how
much
a tik lolly costs.
